It’s wonderful how photography sneakily gets us to pay attention. It gives us a promise of a brilliant image so we dutifully hunt for it everywhere until we succeed. Otherwise why would we ever look twice at something so seemingly trivial as a humble plate, if not for a chance to catch the gods of creativity by the tail and create a small work of art?
