Wind of Gold

Photo by Lara Giacoman, 7, Spain

Often things in life are not at all what they seem at first. ⠀⠀

What appears almost a punishment can turn out to be a gift. Someone we overlook can become a special friend. Something we dismiss as insignificant can play a profound role in our life if not change it completely... or the other way round.

Photography allows us to explore that gap between what things appear and what they actually are...

Often only we as photographers are aware of this interplay, can see both and know the secret, leaving our audience in awe and wondering what they are looking at - pretty much as Lara is doing here.

Learner’s Tip 📸

So what are we looking at in Lara’s quietly stunning photo?

Sand? Wind? Sky? Water? Fabric? It doesn’t matter!

Once your image is out there it’s outside of your control. Everyone will see in it whatever they choose. I choose the Wind of Gold ✨
