Soaked
I love an image that shows us an instant that could only be seen by the photographer. Unlike a beautiful landscape or architecture it just couldn’t be replicated by someone else. It needed all those components to come together for a fleeting moment, before going their separate ways and creating new constellations elsewhere.
Such images can be playful or even absurd but always uniquely alive. Perhaps that’s why dynamic documentary photography will always have its special grip over us.

Notice how pretty much everything (and everyone! 🐶) is completely soaked in this vibrant and saturated image, and how all that water creates tiny mirror-like reflectors for the light to bounce off.
The bold sky almost creates a studio background effect and fascinatingly gives our eyes a bit of a rest and a pleasant change from the juicy colours. Beautifully caught Roy
